Jeanne has over thirty years' experience in all aspects of public libraries. From 1990 through 2001, she was Deputy Director of the Multnomah County Library, an award-winning major urban library in Portland, Oregon. Earlier in her career she was a department head (technical and extension services), the director of medium-sized libraries, and Assistant State Librarian of Nevada.
Jeanne has done extensive teaching and training, written for professional journals, and co-authored Staffing for Results, a book in the highly regarded management series published by the Public Library Association and available from the American Library Association (ALA) Store.
